Relive the Candy Championships 2013

Relive the Candy Championships 2013

We in Gränna Näringsliv are proud of what we together with a number of skilled bakers and other Gränna residents managed to achieve during the Candy Championships / World Cup in candy cooking 2013.

We would like to invite all interested parties to relive what we managed to achieve, both during Friday’s qualifying round inside Jönköpingsfesten where we were the main attraction (with 10 exhibitors in addition to the competition) and on Saturday’s final round on the Vätter stage with almost 2000 spectators.

We want to take the opportunity to show Gränna what echoes this has given out in the world and here at home, TV broadcasts in the US, TV 4 nationally in Sweden, SVT, Radio in Sweden and Germany, Newspaper writing and voices from local entrepreneurs and spectators.

Gränna is unique in many ways, let us invite you to take a moment of humble pride in what this small town and its people are capable of achieving.

You are all welcome to Ribbaskolans Aula on Monday 25/11 from 18 – 21.

Gränna resident of the year 2013

The award for Gränna resident of the year is awarded to a person or organization that demonstrates a strong interest, feeling and drive for the city of Gränna that can be proudly seen as an exemplary ambassador for the area. With this award, we want to encourage the recipient’s continued commitment and dedication.

Åke Rahm
He is a trader worthy of all honors, still at the age of 86 he keeps his shop open at set times, all year round, when health permits. He is known by our tourists and the elderly in Gränna see him as part of a functioning everyday life.
